Ann-Margaret Strickland was the tutor of a fantastic workshop where we had lots of fun and learned:
- karakia (prayer of acknowledgement and thanks to mother nature for supplying us with flax)
- harvesting of harakeke (flax)
- nuturing and maintenance of harakeke
- weave basic food basket (kono)
This workshop was made possible with the support of Auckland Council & the Whau Local Board.
