Some of you have attended our first network meeting in October when Avondale Community Action (ACA) and umbrella organisation TYLA (Turn Your Life Around) had just been awarded awarded a multi-year grant from the Department of Internal Affairs.

This grant has meanwhile enabled us to employ 2 part time dedicated community development workers (CDWs) for three years.   

We would like to invite you to meet the 2 CDWs, to share with you what they have been up to to date and to share what’s currently in the pipeline.

This meeting is an opportunity for you, as a community stakeholder, to have input, to discover on how your networks can benefit from this “Together we are Avondale” program and to be kept informed about progress.
